Industrial Exoskeleton Workshop
The Industrial Exoskeleton Workshop was March 9, 2018 at the Ohio Safety Congress & Expo
Industrial exoskeletons are wearable devices that augment workers' abilities to reduce physical stresses on the body. They may allow workers in challenging jobs to work with less fatigue and with lower risk of injuries. The workshop provided:
- Overview of the current state of exoskeletons;
- Live demonstrations of exoskeletons;
- Discussion with researchers on the impact of exoskeletons on workers' bodies;
- Sharing of real-world experiences from end users who have incorporated exoskeletons in industrial jobs.
