Important March deadlines and events

Drug-Free Safety Program (DFSP)

Private employers participating in DFSP must file an annual report by March 31.

• If you are participating in the DFSP Basic or Advanced level, you must file the DFSP-3. You must also send us all required attachments by the deadline.
• If you are participating in the DFSP Comparable program, you must file the DFSP-4. You must also send us all required attachments by the deadline.
• Sending us your required attachments:
  • You may submit the required attachments by signing into My Policy and using the Upload Documents link and the Document Type “DFSP Supplemental documentation;” or
  • You may fax the required attachments to the nearest customer service office.

EM Cap Program

Private employers participating in the EM Cap Program must complete safety training requirements by March 31. You must complete one of the following:

• One half-day industry-specific safety classroom course;
• Three hours of online safety courses; or
• Three one-hour safety training courses in-person at the annual Ohio Safety Congress & Expo.

One Claim Program (OCP)

Private employers participating in the OCP must complete safety training requirements by March 31.

• If you are a first year participant, you must complete one half-day classroom industry-specific safety course or three hours of online safety courses.
• If you are a second, third, or fourth year participant, you must complete one of the following:
  • One half-day classroom industry-specific safety course;
  • Three hours of online safety courses; or
  • Three one-hour safety training courses in-person at the annual Ohio Safety Congress & Expo.
