Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) enrollment changes

BWC benefit recipients: This is an important message about an upcoming change to the Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) debit card program.

Right now, we automatically enroll you in the program after we issue your first payment. As of Sept. 4, 2018, we’re making a change in which we'll enroll you after three 14-day (biweekly) payments. This change gives you more time to sign up for electronic deposit.

If you sign up for electronic deposit by providing us with your banking information, we'll not enroll you in the prepaid card program. To have your payments electronically deposited to a bank or credit union account, create an e-account and sign up here. Or call 1-800-644-6292, and press 0 to speak with a BWC customer service representative.
