BWC Medical & Health Symposium - CANCELLED
As a precaution to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have cancelled the 2020 Ohio BWC Medical & Health Symposium scheduled for May 1 – 2 and the pre-conference workshop on April 30. All events were scheduled for the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
“The health and safety of Ohioans remain our top concern, and we must take every precaution to protect our citizens,” said BWC Administrator/CEO Stephanie McCloud.
The Medical & Health Symposium will not be rescheduled for a later date in 2020 due to the size and scope of the event. Please mark your calendar now for next year’s event, April 9 - 10, 2021. The event will take place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in downtown Columbus, Ohio.
On March 12, 2020, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that Ohio Department of Health Director Amy Acton, M.D., MPH, signed a COVID-19 order to prohibit mass gatherings in the state of Ohio. This order took effect immediately and will remain until the state of emergency Executive Order 2020-01D declared by the Governor has been rescinded or modified.
We appreciate your understanding on the tough decision to cancel the symposium. Should you have questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Please make sure to cancel your individual hotel reservations; BWC does not have access to this information.
