Jim McAndrew joined the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation as Chief of Information Technology (IT) in March 2017.
Previously, McAndrew worked as a project manager for the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Office of IT, where he worked on large IT projects like BWC's CORE project. He was responsible for working with IT staff and third-party vendors for successful technology integration.
McAndrew has an extensive background in the IT field working through many technology changes at the Ohio Department of Taxation, where he worked more than 10 years.
He earned a bachelor's in business administration from Capital University. McAndrew is married, and has three grown daughters.
