Kim Norris joined BWC in March 2019 with more than 20 years of communications experience in the public and private sectors.
Norris is a results-focused communications professional with specific expertise in public policy and media relations in telecom, public utilities, energy, legal, agriculture, aerospace, K-12 and higher education. She is skilled in media relations, brand and reputation management, thought leadership, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Norris began her career in television news as a reporter and anchor in Columbus, Ohio. She later moved to public service in the role as lead communicator for several state agencies, including the Ohio Attorney General's office, the Auditor of State, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, and the Ohio Department of Education. Norris also served in leadership roles in the private sector with Ameritech, global PR firm Fleishman-Hillard and others.
Norris is a graduate of The Ohio State University.
