BWC announces virtual Medical & Health Symposium April 7 - 9, 2022

COLUMBUS — Based on overwhelming response, the 2022 Ohio Workers’ Compensation Medical & Health Symposium will be virtual again April 7 – 9, 2022.


Themed “Comprehensive Care for an Injured Worker,” the online, free symposium features educational sessions for health care practitioners, their staff, and legal professionals.


“Next year’s annual symposium offers three days of learning opportunities for health care and legal attendees worldwide on some of the most pressing health and medical issues of our time,” said Stephanie McCloud, Administrator/CEO for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC), the event’s sponsor.


The 2022 symposium offers:


•    Free registration
•    Continuing education
•    Three days of cutting-edge presentations from industry experts
•    Virtual interaction with speakers and exhibitors


After going virtual last year, the 2021 symposium experienced a 400% increase in registration with registrants representing 42 states and 11 countries. Survey responses showed 96% of attendees plan to register for the 2022 symposium.


BWC will be seeking approval to offer continuing education credits for nearly 20 health care and legal professions. More details to come.
